THE STEAM PAGE IS APPROVED
Valve approved the Steam store page for Windows and macOS on October 5, 2026. It opens for wishlists as soon as it goes public.

The Pale Tide, one of the six worlds in every version of the game.
WHAT HAPPENED
On October 5, 2026, Valve approved the Steam store page for Kai's Greedy Loop. Approval is the step before a page can be shown to the public: the next step is to make it visible as Coming Soon, and from that moment anyone can find the game on Steam and add it to their wishlist. That will be announced here and on the game's other pages the day it happens. The planned release date is October 28, 2026, for Windows and macOS.
A wishlist matters more on Steam than it might seem. Steam tells everyone who wishlisted a game when it comes out, and the number of wishlists before launch decides how much Steam shows a new game to other players in its first days. For a game made by one developer, that is most of the marketing there is.
WHAT THE STEAM VERSION IS
It is the same game you can play free in the browser, the whole of it: all six worlds, the gate at the end of each, the keeper outside the glass and the full collection of creatures. The Steam version is a paid game, and it has no ads and no purchases inside it. You pay once and that is all.
On a keyboard the space bar does both moves, a tap to change lane and a hold to dash; the up arrow and the enter key work too, and with a mouse the left button does the same.
ONE ACCOUNT
Your records do not stay on one machine. Kai's Greedy Loop keeps its saves, its collection and its world ranking in a DOPAPLAY account, the same one the browser and the mobile apps use. Sign in on Steam with the account you use on your phone and your collection, your best runs and your place on the ranking come with you. Nobody has to make an account to play: the first launch makes a guest, and signing in later keeps everything the guest earned.
WHAT IS NEXT
Until release, the Steam build is tested on Windows and macOS alongside the browser version, and every fix lands in both. When the release date is final, it will be posted here first.
